Such a notion w..."Fact" is a strong word. Such a notion would have to be based on the assumption that all cases are known. Just because a certain writer prints an estimate or a claim (based on available information) never makes something a "fact." Might I request a specific reference citation for the claim of this "fact?" It might be advisable to look at the Index here and comparing its listings to those in the source you cite. A quick way to spot check might be to use the list of "Female Serial Killers of 19th Century America" here to check against the source you are using (since there are old cases, available in English, and would presumably be know to the scholar making such a claim "86%"). I am quite confident that the source will be missing the vast majority of the cases on the 19th Century America list.

RE: Number of victims: take a look at "Prolific Female Serial Killers." There are some impressive numbers there. Credonia Mwerinde is especially notable. I have not seen her listed in any list of serial killers (apart from mine) as of yet.St. Estephehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11524785594106747591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1496069017254326809.post-4775612103385784182015-03-30T13:39:01.722-07:002015-03-30T13:39:01.722-07:001. Currently classification under serial killer is therefore not correct.dentixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04002631786549432927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1496069017254326809.post-71795903966525971412015-01-20T14:13:40.523-08:002015-01-20T14:13:40.523-08:00This is the same face that appears in the mugshot ...This is the same face that appears in the mugshot that appears in the crimelibrary.com article: Rachael Bell, “Michel Fourniret Serial Killer”St. Estephehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11524785594106747591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1496069017254326809.post-44199602343618893292015-01-18T03:23:53.245-08:002015-01-18T03:23:53.245-08:00Instead of the murderer's wife Monique Olivier...Instead of the murderer's wife Monique Olivier, you posted the picture of an innocent woman who just happens to have the same name.
