A Woman Attacks 16-year-old Ethel Millard With A Pot of Lye – Texas 1926

FULL TEXT: Dallas, Tex., Aug. 17 – An angry woman threw a pot of lye on Ethel Millard, 16 years old, here today, burning the girl about the face, neck, arms and hands. At the hospital the girl said she did not know the woman and could give no reason for the act. The lye hurler left the scene hurriedly and when police arrived in the neighborhood none of the residents could say where she lived.
