Violence by Women: Anand Dikshit, Indian Acid Attacker – 2011

Anand Vihar, Delhiu, India – Aarti Dikshit, 25,  was angry that her boyfriend of five years, Vineet , 27, standing broke off their romance. He had, according to her, promised to marry her. But, according to the local police commissioner, they had an argument after a date and when he prepared to leave she took the a bottle of acid she had carried in her purse and threw the contents in his face. Vineet was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital.
