FULL TEXT: At the Mysore (India) Sessions on January 6, a girl only 11 years of age was sentenced to penal servitude tor life for killing two little boys by pushing them into a well, after robbing them of silver and gold ornaments. The judge, disagreeing with the assessors, said there was ample evidence to show that the girl knew what she was doing, and that it was wrong. Still, the sentence appears to us (says the Madras Mail) a terrible one for a girl so young. "Altogether a bad and sad case."
