Mrs. Larkin, Badger Game Dame – Pennsylvania, 1919

 
 
FULL TEXT: Wilkes-Barre, Pa., July 2. Allan Larkin and wife, proprietor of the Larkin Hotel were held without bail here today on a charge of robbing John Ross, a farmer, of Dallas township of $300 by working an old badger game. Ross testified that he went to the Larkin Hotel on May first, and after he went to his room Mrs. Larkin entered. "While they were in the room, he says, the husband appeared with a revolver and threatened to kill him. "Let him pay," the woman is said to have exclaimed. Larkin agreed and with the revolver still pointed at him Ross claims he handed over $300, after which he left the place.
