FULL TEXT: Trenton, N. J., Dec. 15.— Carl Lindsay is suffering from fearful burns about the face. and injuries to his eyes which may result in blindness, if not in death, as a result of a quarrel.
Lindsay
and a girl named Mamie Lee employed in the Trenton Brass Works quarreled
yesterday afternoon over a bit of work. The girl, in a passion, picked up a jar
of hydrochloric acid standing on a workbench beside her and threw it at
Lindsay.
The
acid spattered over his face and clothing, but fellow-workmen stripped him
before the acid reached his body through his clothing.
