In the Wikipedia post on Olga Konstantinovna Briscorn, a
Russian artistocrat who serially murdered her serfs, the following list of
similar cases is noted. “Saltichikha” refers to the most well-known case of this
type, that of Saltykova. [See post on this site: 1762 – Darya
Nikolayevna Saltykova – Moscow, Russia]
In the second half of the 19th century, three other cruel
serfresses and followers of Saltychikha [Saltykova] were documented:
1) Princess Anna Stepanovna Sheleshpanskaya, who earned the
nickname of the "Chukhloma Saltychikha" for torturing and then, in a
drunken stupor, slaying 15 serfs;
2) Princess Alexandra Vladimirovna Kozolovskaya, who
tortured, maimed and killed her serfs;
3) Honorata Stotskaya, the "Saltychikha from Mozyr
Uyezd", whom surpassed all of her serf-owning colleagues and was exiled in
Siberia.
