FULL TEXT: That even in the "Paradise of
Babies', as Sir Rutherford Alcock has called in his writings Japan, the
angel-making is in full bloom, have repeatedly proven criminal proceedings.
Recently, in Osaka, two angel-makers, the 55-year-old Ischi Minogata and the
66-year-old Akino Kawabarg, have been sentenced to death because of 11 child
murders committed within a two month period.
The women had adopted the children for a fee and then quickly promoted
to the afterlife. The execution of the murderers in the Harikawa Prison in
Osaka was an exciting scene. They women violently tried to free themselves from
the hands of the hangman's servants and could only be led to their fate with
the utmost difficulty.
