FULL TEXT: One of the things young ladies shouldn’t do is go
around accepting allotment checks from two “husbands.” Mrs. Linda Moore Kinne,
20-year-old mother of twp children, learned yesterday.
She was arraigned before U. S. Commissioner Head on a charge
of illegally accepting an allotment check of $80 from Pfc. Bernard R. Kinne.
In the County Jail, Mrs. Kinne May 10, 1944, in Santa Ana.
Previously, in Madill, Okla., she married Archie V. Moore Nov. 28, 1940. Moore
later went into the Army. Her second marriage, she admitted, she admitted, was
a little too hasty – her divorce hadn’t become final.
Mrs. Kinne, of 904 ½ E. Center St., Anaheim, was released by
Head on her recognizance – without bail – and ordered to report Oct. 8 for
hearing.
