Index of Female Serial Killers
Criminologists have based their observations regarding on female serial killers on lists and data gathered by historians of crime. Yet it is a fact that very little actual research has been devoted by crime historians to the subject of crime committed by women. This fact has been overlooked.
In 1998 Kelleher & Keller published a list of 86 cases in the groundbreaking book, Murder Most Rare: The Female Serial Killer. In 2007, Peter Vronsky published a list of 140 cases in Female Serial Killers: How and Why Women Become Monsters.
The Unknown History of MISANDRY has employed new research techniques -- search engines using key words to comb large databases of newspapers and other publications. So far we have uncovered more than 600 cases (with 3 or more victims; a list including 2-victim cases (Newton's definition in his Encyclopedia) would be a much longer list).
